2C31 1703 Morecambe to Barrow reverses at Lancaster. (Two trains in reverse direction.)

All are once-daily diagrams.

1Y73 1433 Brighton to Southampton Central reverses at Eastleigh (plus 1Y25/53/55/59/65/77/81).

Two trains in each direction Leeds to Morecambe also reverse at Lancaster (but can probably be grouped with the Heysham Port trains).

Any train from St Pancakes / Leicester to Sheffield via Nottingham reverses at Nottingham.

Project Mapping does not tell you whether trains reverse! I thought Open Train Times in Advanced mode showed 'RM' for reversing movement but I can't see that now.
I agree but he said they can reverse. Anything that passes through Newcastle can reverse. OK, so most won't, but it's possible! This one does not; this one does. Trains will reverse without necessarily being booked to, if they need to turn the stock or if there is a problem with the leading cab (e.g. a windscreen wiper failure or something).

Sometimes they get turned for route retention around the bridges but also for capacity reasons I guess, lets more trains use the King Edward Bridge whilst that uses the High Level.

According to PSUL (Passenger Services Over Unusual Lines?) the following services use High Level Bridge instead of King Edward Bridge

2A06 1001 SuX and hourly to 2A16 1301 SuX, 2A18 1401 SSuX, 2A22 1501 SSuX, 2A26 1601 SuX, 2W85 2215 SSuX / 2230 SO MetroCentre - Newcastle or beyond
2N06 0742 SuX, 2N22 1145 SuX, 2N30 1345 SuX, 2N34 1445 SuX, 2N42 1645 SuX Hexham - Newcastle or beyond

The xx01 minutes past each hour from Metrocentre are the Morpeth services so will have reversals, the majority of Hexhams go through to Middlesboroiugh / Nunthorpe but there are exceptions

All the highland sleeper services reverse at Waverley. Assuming there isn't an east coast diversion in place, of course.

If they are going via ECML they need to reverse at Camden Junction.

Runs via Altrincham non-stop for route retention.

There's a handful or services between Brighton and Chichester which run via and reverse at Littlehampton.

Everything Paddington - Cheltenham Spa reverses at Gloucester both ways.

The first Paddington - Swansea in the morning (1C01) reverses at Bristol Temple Meads and then runs in reverse from Swa back to Pad.

All Paddington - Camarthen - HST's (and HST's going to Pembroke Dock in the summer) reverse at Swansea for the run further west.

A lot of reversals at New Beckenham, Twickenham (Windsor lines closed?), Southampton (on Wloo<>P'smouths), Littlehampton (on VIC<>Brightons), somewhere near Nottingham, something between Oxford and Paddington, various in the New Barnet area, various things going between Reigate and Tonbridge etc.

Had something similar to this in a quiz a few years ago - which branch lines involve reversal to travel their full length?
We came up with eight:
Liskeard - Coombe Junction - Looe
Plymouth - Bere Alson - Gunnislake
Maidenhead - Bourne End - Marlow
Norwich - Cromer - Sheringham
Middlesbrough - Battersby - Whitby
Lancaster - Morecambe - Heysham
Glasgow -Fort William - Mallaig
Inverness - Wick - Thurso

Of course there are many other regular services that reverse en route as part of a through service. Frequent examples being:
Ascot - Aldershot - Guildford
Brighton - Eastbourne - Hastings

Plus, there are two reversals during the journey for trips such as:
Liverpool - Sheffield - Nottingham - Ely - Norwich
Manchester - Cardiff - Swansea - Camarthen - Milford Haven
