The kale, spinach and carrot combination sounds quite nice, I will have to give that a try at some point.

I've just had three spring rolls that I brought home from a buffet.

It is nice enough but it certainly isn't a haddock supper covered in lashings of brown sauce with a crispy buttered roll and a bottle of Irn Bru.

I can imagine, I had a fantastic sausage supper up in Glasgow on Saturday which was fantastic and very reasonably priced. I bought some kale and spinach this afternoon (already had some carrots in), so I will let you know what I think once I've had a smoothie.

Did someone leave the teacakes unattended? As for me, a toasted teacake!

Frankfurters in a baguette. Quick and easy but alas the work canteen has no mustard or a hob for frying onions

Pork Belly slices, roast potatoes, peas, brussel sprouts, and gravy. Not bad for a student kitchen I think! I feel that I also ought to mention the Toad-in-the-hole I made a few days back as well. Got a few envious looks from my flat mates, but that thing was delicious and could have fed a family of 4!

Homemade bubble and squeek with Shanghai spring rolls and various differnet Filipino leftover foods from my do on Saturday. Going to be a week to clear it all.

For dinner this evening, I had a Fray Bentos Chicken pie with mashed potatoes and gravy.

Right now I'm eating some Jacobs crackers for supper.
