That was weird...

...I also had pasta - penne, courgette and mozzarella bake with parmesan, peas and broccoli. Washed down with a cup of Twinings blackcurrant & blueberry tea.

Hmm, not sure Id enjoy the above myself. For me I had a rather taisty ham cheez and mayo sarny at lunchtime and about to tuck into chicken stew with roasters.

An Indian take-away from Waitrose. Saag aloo, lentil dhal, something with split peas and spinach, pilau rice, and naan bread.

a bed of crunchy, curly kale, homemade cauliflower rice, with a home-brewed, lean, chicken tikka...cracked black pepper, sea salt & chilli flakes. Washed down with a self made, mango, pineapple and coconut smoothie.

You're still putting us all to shame :P

I would try and redeem some dignity for the forum, but student budgets and a basic hob & oven don't help! I've just had Fusilli, served with a tomato sauce, fried sausages, chorizo, and a couple of finger chillis, topped with some Grana Padano, washed down with a bottle of Peroni Nastro Azzuro. Admittedly, for all the compromises I make in groceries, I always seem to get the nice alcohol. Funny that.

Grana Padano??? Why not Parmigiano Reggiano???!?!?

Get out.

Just kidding. :D That sounds like a repast fit for a king. I have just eaten some cod with nutty pesto, tomatoes, and lemony mash with peas. This is being followed rapidly by some cold pear and chocolate cobbler.
