Liverpool Central (security alert)
Birmingham New Street (WSMR scheduled service)
Birmingham New Street (WSMR scheduled service)
I'd say that doesn't count as per the OP's criteria, as they're regularly timetabled to pass through non-stop, "Don't include stations were it is possible to run non-stop through on a timetable service everyday"Birmingham New Street, on a scheduled Wrexham and Shropshire service. Which was interesting.
Also doesn't match the OP's criteria of a timetabled service, rather than a charter.Preston on an SRPS tour
None of these match the criteria though.Hereford (wag) Bham Intl and Cov (WSMR) anything between Reading and Padd, Didcot Parkway, Newbury, I think thats about it!
Never heard of them!Do Wargrave and Shiplake count?
Not a large station per sé but a fairly major player really...Stoke-on-Trent
Manchester Piccadilly when VT were diverting between Crewe and Liverpool L St
Yeah, I'd say that counts. Can't think of any booked non-stop trains through SOT!
Which one?Does the Caledonian Sleeper pass through any?
When I did the sleeper via the ECML, we stopped at NCL and I got off at YRK! Darlo & Durham have regular non-stop services, although it's possible that nothing is booked non-stop through Darlo station itself.I guess Caledonain Sleeper diversions up, or down, the East Coast must pass through York and Newcastle without stops. Could throw Darlington and Durham in too if there classed as 'BIG'
Interesting one, I think it has already been possible to do Lincoln as there were diverts through there last year (or was it two years ago?)

Does that not go via Crewe?
Sheffield. On a diverted Crosscountry Voyager, after the southbound EMT service that had departed before us failed around Dronfield. My train departed Sheffield as normal, cleared the tunnels at the west end of the station towards Dore and Totley, and was then held for about 15 minutes before going backwards through Sheffield station non stop to gain the Darnall line.

I've been through Leeds Non-Stop on a Wakefield - Kings Cross via Hambleton Junction divert service after a Shed failed and the service ran about an hour late, therefore everyone from Leeds was taken for a free spin via Wakefield Kirkgate to Wakefield Westgate and back via Outwood.

Would Stockton count before the days of Grand Central? It was impossible to do it non stop at the time I did it: On a diverted ECML Crosscountry service that ran via the Stillington freight lines from Ferryhill. That one may be null and void now.
(do Tube station weekend closures count?)
