Look a bit like Pullman doors
Your right I’ve looked this morning , the pic I have shows a gwr coloured door on a xc unit , I presume a trail fit
That one is but the first pic I put up was a gwr door on an xctThat is surely a GWR door on a GWR unit? Or are you referring to a different photo!?
No, there’s not enough brake force for the lengths of the signal sections.
No, there’s not enough brake force for the lengths of the signal sections.
Is there any information available about how that is calculated?
I’ll check the seating plans tomorrow
Well, if they can’t do 125mph with 4 coaches but can with 5, why not make them 5 coach sets?
Surely, it would have been best if the ex GWR HST’s had gone to XC where they could perhaps have been 6 or 7 coach sets and the 4 coach XC Voyagers had gone to Scotland or to GWR?
Hopefully the seating will be altered to be of a similar layout to the 158s, extra seating will allready be provided in extra carriages (4 vs 2 or 3). I don't have a problem with the HSTs as they are, there is plenty of room even in the current layout. However, lots of families from my local station travel for leisure purposes so extra tables would be advantageous for these. It is just a shame rather than a Trailer Standard at the end of the train, a Miniature Buffet isn't being retained. aim sure the demand is there and would be better than a trolley.
