Now before anyone has a go at me for posting an "impossible" one...Those windows are unique to this station as far as I know. Also: Though I've taken the station sign out of shot, I've left in enough clues about the sign to make this pretty easy! :)

TBH, no, I didn't see it. Sorry about that. Anyway, Hebden Bridge was correct for my one, so now I can move onto yours and tell you that I haven't a bl**din' clue!

EDIT. On second thoughts, if those lights are lighting up the sign, could it possibly just be Llanfairpwllgwyngyll etc etc?

Death, nice idea but it was indeed a intra First Group transfer / loan. And of course it's Cardiff Central! I attach the full photo as proof. Has anyone counted what percentage of these TB gets right? :D

jrhilton - I have no idea where Shepperton is - all I did was a simple search of the site you got the pic from (http://www.geograph.org.uk/) which I found by right clicking on the image and opening the image in a new tab. Then doing a simple search for D98922 / Nigel Cox.

Those little things (like the FB trick) make the game easy!

PS - This is my 1,300th post and the threads 4607th post!

I think I am being got at here. As you may have noticed from all the pictures I have posted, all taken by me and from all parts of the network. I have travelled far and wide across the network and still enjoy doing so. This means I have now travelled through every station on the network which does make this game easier. Some I have only been through once and a considerable time ago. Some I have been through many times over the years. I am not very good in some areas but I am not going to tell you where these are. This travelling around does give you a feel for the architecture and rough idea where a station is.

You choice of this picture was was excellent for me as I stand by those lifts every day waiting for my train home.

Another person who is very good at this game is Steamy Brian. He spots some of the most unlikely locations first go. He does not post photos though. There are others here who are also very good, we all have areas where we are stronger. Matt Taylor is very good on the Southern and Mr IPT is good in the midlands.

What I can tell you is that I have now posted 75 pictures including the current one. I have had to give quite a few more out to open floor as I have been on a mobile. I don't know how many photos we have had.

Please don't take offence to my awe at how easily you get these photos. I've had a look at your photo pages and can see you've been out and about on the railways from an early age. Also it's just coincidence that almost all my photos are from South Wales as that is where I lived for 28 years and as you're local to that area, it's natural that you've gotten almost all the pictures that I've posted. I've come to expect you to get most of the photos I post (despite my attempts to make it more difficult), which is a testament to your powers of observation and your commitment to you hobby. It was just good a good natured ribbing that was meant by my above comment.

I spent a very frustrating 4 hours there waiting for a charter train that had actually failed at Craven Arms and was eventually diverted direct to Cardiff. Did not come down the Heart of Wales.
