I thought you applied last time as an internal?

I did but they made an error processing to managers interview. My FGW results only had 5 months remaining meaning that by time I started the course they would have been 3 weeks out of date. So I have to retake the tests again for Aga but I still have 11 months validity with gtr and first group

Just put in an application. Got a score of 75 which I understand to be quite good

Does anyone know which tests abellio undertake

That is a great score. I scored 64 this time although I still have an active application from December 2014 which I scored 65 on. Hopefully they will process my application this time.

If you check the email with the link to your account and log in with the password provided should bring up a PDF style copy of your application with a score on the first page.

I received that on the 3rd. My mate also applied at the same time, and he had the same e-mail.

I see now. Application under consideration.

I thought for a moment people were receiving next stage e-mails.

I think I'm back with the program.

I think this is just a standard response that all applicants receive. it just gives you a score which seems to be created almost immediately when you submit your application form (must be computer generated I assume). I don't think it means you are through to the next stage.

Does anyone know what the cut off score is for progressing to the next stage? Looking at the various posts, anything above 58 looks hopefull? I guess part of the scoring process is your current home address and how far away you are from the nearest depot? It's unclear whether they will consider applicants who are prepared to relocate, unless anyone knows any different? I'm an external applicant.

Hi Guys,

New to this site and recently started applying for London/Essex applications.

I got 68 on this application and was wondering if anyone has previously applied and what score they got as an external applicant?

thanks

From what I have read in other threads about Abellio Greater Anglia, the score has generally been used to help sift applicants. Whilst there is a minimum cutoff, I think it is fairly low. Basically, those with the highest scores will but put forward for further assessment first.

I think the application uses the otdpq or outstanding train driver personality questionnaire LOROL and crossrail use with the strongly agree to disagree options

I scored 56 this time, I applied 2 years ago with a score of 61 and got to assessments, so hopefully I've done enough this time?!

I have seen people post on here that they have scored 70 and not progressed to the next stage, similarly I have also seen people post that they got through with a score in the low 60's so who knows how they do it.
I assume a higher score means that your application is more likely to be processed but doesn't mean you are through.

Thanks Stevieoz, I suppose it depends also on where the vacancies are and the location of the applicant aswell.
I'm assuming part of the score is based on applicant location as well as answers to the questions, so it may be possible to answer the questions well and get a high score but not be best located for any of the vacancies?

Either way, good luck to everyone applying.

The questions were all very similar to MTR and LOROL applications (probably OPC dictated).
