I'm still waiting for my structured interview to be rescheduled, was meant to be last week but I was on holiday I've emailed too asking for update, just still waiting...hope they haven't forgotten me lol

Haha oh yeah I know that lol I'm internal staff already and when I applied for the position I'm in now, I waited a year for an interview lol

Just found out that the lady in HR that I've been emailing is actually leaving on the 25th so that's possibly why I've been delayed, so I need to email someone else and find out what's going on

I did apply last year but for metro/south area, gidea park would of been the depot, this year it's ilford depot

I saw your posts on the other thread, so sorry about your news was this your first try?

Yeah. I got through all the tests though, but due to them taking so long (I applied early 2012) they will expire early next year so I have to hope there is another job available before then.

Had the reactions test and the structured interview today - passed the reactions but my word that interview was tough. Will be gobsmacked if I've passed it, the woman just kept probing more and more when I'd already said all I knew and explained how I'd felt about it several times before - definitely a sign that my answers weren't quite what she was looking for I'd imagine!

Oh well, will wait and see, if I fail I know to definitely try for other positions further down the 'ladder' first in the future

Hi, I pass my managers interview in September (got you have been successful in the role e-mail) and I had medicals last week but I didn't get answer from GA since then.
My training supposed to start on 25th October but still didn't get contract or letter as my previous letter states that job offer will be subjected to medicals and satisfactory references and criminal records
Is anyone else waiting ?

Yes I tried to, but no one is answering the phone (yesterday I was trying to call them every 10 minutes - but no answer)- I e-mailed them as well but no answer, apparently the lady that was in charge of my case has left the company. Maybe I should go to the academy to get some more information as training starts 25th and I have to give my employer leave notice asap!

I'm sure someone will be there on Monday morning when you phone - must be worrying though. If not, I think you're right to pop over there and see someone in person!

Yeah Claire Kadesh has left the company now so if you do go down there, try and speak to Kevin Vallis, he's always been very helpful.

Then managers interview week after !

Aww thanks, it went better than when I tried last year so that's a good sign, i come out feeling good so we shall see, The woman that interview was much nicer than the one I had last year which made me relax a bit more which helped I find out within a week apparently.

With regards to the Depot Driver position:
Had my structured interview and reactions test on 30th. Email on 3rd October that I was successful thanks to everyone for their input. Got to read up on GA now. Wish everyone else the best of luck with stage two; the structured interview is a unique experience!

Managers interview can be whatever they want its supposed to be all competency based but if they want to question you about your cv they will
Keen on travel distance to work aswell
My situation is different to most so mine is purely pot luck

Been chasing GA for dates of DM interview and have been told today, they have taken on all drivers for their October intake. Next one will be March apparently.

I applied for Trainee Depot Driver at Ilford btw.

Seems like a huge waste of time applying for a job that seemingly they already filed before September assessments?

Thanks for the update. I applied for exactly the same job, bit disappointing it's going to be quite a wait for a DM interview! Could've at least told us it would take that long!

Im meant to hear about how I got on with my structured interview this week but just been told, because Claire Kadesh from HR left last week and with no replacement yet theres loads of work piled up so I think it will be a few weeks till I find out if I passed or not lol the wait is killing me!!

Hi, I waited nearly a year between my structured interview & my DM interview & I was told that the next course was in January! Got through both the DM/medical & I'm on the October course. All this year I was never under the impression that there would be an October course so don't be surprised if you get an unexpected call!!
