Greater Anglia Trainee Depot Driver position

Good evening all,

Just want to say thanks to everyone on the forum. Ive recently been invited to undertake assessments (Group Bourdon etc) with Greater Anglia and have found the information on this forum invaluable!

I was just wondering if anyone is due to go to the assessment centre in Stratford next week with regards to the Greater Anglia Trainee Depot Driver position? Not a lot of chatter about the position aside from early posts in August about the availability. So little chatter that ive been checking my inbox for a "sorry we cancelled it" email for the last day!

I think I applied around the first week in August if this helps!

Nicely done! I figured I was fairly far down on the list with regards to inviting applicants for assessments!

What puzzles me is the email says "allow 3-4 hours" for all the tests. As far as I am aware, there are 4, and they are fairly short. I was also under the impression that they would email the results to me. Was this the case for you?

Done the tests with another TOC. So straight to Managers Interview.

The tests have to be marked on the same day to see whether you can sit the next test or be sent home and the reactions test only one person can sit at a time if you get that far.

Was this advertised as depot driver? Or Trainee Driver?
Was it the one day only advert on 26 June 13?

It was advertised as trainee depot driver. I recall one of the depots was Ilford. It could well have been advertised at that date; late July/early August.

Hey, I applied for this too, this will be my second time trying, passed all the tests but failed the structured interview the first time, so there's a lot more pressure this time but I'm more prepared now due to knowing what the interview is actually like. I was meant to have my structured interview next week but I'm actually on holiday so I'm waiting for them to reschedule it

Just how it works.. I was delayed due to the broken reactions and coordination test.. and it went on from there :P

Via letter as it has to be in writing We won't hear for a little bit due to most of HR being on holiday.. at the same time.

I had an email today inviting me to a Stage 2 assessment day, following my success at Stage 1. How many of those that didn't go straight to the DM interview will I be seeing on the 23rd?

I emailed them today and was told we would find out today was on edge ALL day. But still no phone call, letter or email saying successful/unsuccessful.
