So which Grand Central staff jinxed a Virgin service this morning?
They all seemed to be jinxed today!! Still, apart from a diversion between Sheffield and Chesterfield on the way down, and a drunk passenger, and a sick passenger on the way home, no real problems. Even managed to escape Brum before the points problem at Proof House Junction!!

Is that just to learn what the role entails, as opposed to route learning, since if teh latetr I would assume you would de-train at Donny or York.
GC gets tagged!!
Basically as you are aware, some of GC staff had a non railway backround, this was an exercise to show those staff members how onboard staff such as TM's etc work with the public, carrying out their duties such as ticket checks,PA announcements etc,IMHO its been a good exercise !!![]()
Bosch, were you stood by the first class doors on arrival at Leeds? If so remember someone asking you if you'd been jinxing Virgin?
Indeed you have met me. Your conductor i'm sure was ex. GNER?
Apparently the local yobs managed to graffiti 43080 overnight, although it was quickly removed from the info I was told.
It was too early for me to properly work anything out. Luckily the guy who I met off the train had his brain working!
BOSCH, your announcements were suberb by the way.

06:44 NCL-LDS, I only went as far as Leeds thankfully, ended up sitting in vestibule from Darlington to Leeds like. Hope Paul the TM treat you well?
Where were ya before GCR? Paul is a total legend, actually most of VXC's NCL crew is!
Been out shadowing XC TMs and FCHs, which is why we've been to Brum a few times recently!!
Yup, that's the diversion! Couldn't remember the spelling!! More blue on the route map too!!
