It looks like go cornwall are using a early 2000 mercedes minibus for the school contracts on the lizard.
Is white with a go cornwall sticker stuck on the side.

3 Go Cornwall E200MMCs are running on the PR3 in Exeter. Been a while since they last ran 3 on the same day. I thought these were owned by Cornwall Coumcil? One has had its Go Cornwall branding removed and Dartline logos added.

Three return journeys running Sennen Cove - St Just Monday to Friday only.

In its original form the route ran between St Ives and Land's End, being taken over by Go Cornwall from West Penwith Community Transport in 2020, but was withdrawn when First ran the Lands End Coaster all year round for one winter only. It has since been sparodically reintroduced then withdrawn again. Last time round, 2023 from memory it ran between Land's End and Gurnards Head, but only lasted one winter despite its reintroduction due to calls from residents in Sennen who wanted the direct link to St Just restored. Perhaps this time people will actually use it!

Nothing has appeared on the TfC website yet.

Will be interesting to see what vehicles will enter the fleet for the additional work, I wonder if the 17 plates from Plymouth will be cascaded over the Tamar Bridge now that the new electrics are in service

That registration for the 4/4A as a separate route from the 17 means, of course, that the 17 is being split. It has always been the case - I don't know how long for - that the 17 was Pendeen (Boscaswell Estate) - Penzance - St. Ives and the 17A was Madron - Penzance - St. Ives so I would guess one of the following:

a) 4 & 4A to give 2bph between St. Just and Penzance with the 4A via. Madron (although I wouldn't have thought 2bph between Penzance and St. Just would be sustainable. As an aside I have always thought that Boscaswell Estate, when I have looked at it on Google Maps, looks quite a tight spot for a terminus and I wonder why they don't do Penzance - Newbridge - Pendeen - Botallack - St. Just instead and use St. Just Bus Station as the terminus.

or

b) Service 4 to be Penzance - Madron - Newbridge - St. Just - Botallack - Pendeen (Boscaswell Estate) as per Service 17E unless they reverse it as per my suggestion above, at 1bph and have the 4A running fast Penzance - Newbridge - St. Just as positioning journeys.

Weren't the T1 and T2 previously known as the 14 and 18 respectively under First Kernow before they gained their present route numbers?

I don't know if they operate along the same line of route but I wonder if the new 33/33A might see off the 32 (Falmouth - Tremough - Truro) and 32A (Penryn College - Truro)?

The 33 seems to be redruth so the 32 must still surely exist to cover truro. I presume any services will be also routed through penryn town now. The t1 and 2 were indeed formerly known as the 18 and 14

Hmm. Perhaps Service 2 at an increased frequency with some journeys interworking to Service 3? I would be surprised if they dropped the through working completely: on the times I have used the U4 either way out of Helston it has been fairly busy.

The St Just/Madron - Penzancd and and Penzance - St Ives sections were separate routes up until around 2004 when they were joined. Since then they've been split and rejoined more times than I care to remember.

We will find out soon enough but the terminus point at Boscaswell Estate, seen here on StreetView - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place...try=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MTIwOS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw== - doesn't look like the biggest of turning circles hence my thought that they may be going to reverse it but TBF I have never visited the place so it could be easier than it looks but I suppose that would depend on how many parked cars there are.

Bocaswell wasnt much of an issue turning the times I've travelled there on deckers or singles.

Some already have and a few 69 plates have been in West/Mid Cornwall recently. I saw WA17 FTC on the 40 in St. Day last week.

Other way around, T2 was 14 and T1 was 18 I believe.

Wasn't a turning circle at Boscaswell Estate. Had to reverse each time.
Parked cars we mostly OK, but on occasions you had to reverse half way back up the estate to turn.

Penzance to St Just (and vv) used to run via North Road and not go down into the estate at all.
Perhaps on the way to St Just was North Road, so out via the Landsend road turning.
The next St Just service went in via the Landsend road turning, and out via North Road.
