Folks -- forget apes, monkeys, lemurs -- anything simian. The creature is "other than those".

You've hit it The tartan was created in celebration of the spell (2011 -- 23) in Edinburgh Zoo, of the (hoped-to-be) breeding pair of giant pandas, Yuang Guang and Tian Tian, obtained from China. As it tends to be with this species: breeding didn't happen; though they drew many visitors. They went back to China in 2023. The tartan's principal colours are black and white -- colour of the animals' fur; and grey, to soften the pattern / colouring. Also elements of red (for China -- colour of the national flag) and green (for pandas' favourite food, bamboo).

Next question, yours to set.
As above -- lovable though llamas are: afraid not.

Thank you.

Next question:

What does the title of the Tom Cruise film Vanilla Sky refer to?

Did the artist mix ice cream with paint to create the right colour?

I forgot to mention that it isn't about ice cream.

This has gone on long enough. Vanilla Sky describes the sky in Claude Monet's The Seine at Argenteuil (1873) which is the painting Tom Cruise and Penelope Cruz are looking at in that scene, it also features on the DVD menu.
