You have the correct island group. The people concerned have a surprisingly high amount of Denisovan DNA and are of negrito appearance. One particular island has been their homeland.
Does that help with the question of the name of these ethnic indigenous people?

In that case, since the Philippines has already correctly been named as part of the answer, I will give the name of the people in question.
The ethnic people are the Aeta people and Luzon Island was their homeland.

I do not think that it's a trick question -- "can't be that obvious" -- viz. the city of Leon; but, anyway ...
It's not, but León is often paired with another ancient spanish kingdom..........

Close, but not quite. lf León and Valladolid are 2 of the three corners of a roughly isosceles triangle, then this beautiful old city would be the 3rd corner.

The city is Burgos, home of the kings of old Castille (Castilla la vieja) and León.
Often overlooked, but it's an amazing city well worth a visit, with a stop in Aranda de Duero on the way also recommended.
As they would say in Burgos "suelo abierto" (open floor)
