There is a noted church of St John the Baptist in Lincoln with semi-circular pews. On the wall, behind the altar, there is a very large window, following the shape of the wall with clear glass sides and a large coloured abstract stained glass centre section. Besides the circular-shaped church of St Chad in Shrewsbury with its military side chapel, these are the only two churches where the interior circular aspect is noticeable, that I have ever visited.

That clue is most helpful and years ago, we often found the Little Chef restaurants useful when needed a break and a meal on long car journeys. There was one in the Retford area that had a very noticeable building outline, especially in the roof area.
