I know he had at the time two of the worlds most expensive cars. Given that he had a penchant for fast women and slow horses and treated income tax as optional I suspect he had to sell one to pay some debt or the other.

I saw that! It was an adult panto with Jim Davidson as Buttons & Charlie as Baron Hardon & some ex page 3 girl as Sinderella. Was Charlies car used as the carriage? If it was I don't remember it in the version I saw (there were a few)
