Aha, you fell for the trick! Three of them are Shakespearean, (Macbeth and Othello being the obvious ones, the last synopsis comes from The Merry Widow) but the others are not. There is not (to my knowledge) a Shakespearean play that fits the third or fourth statements. So it doesn't link them all I'm afraid. And none of the above are related to Twelfth Night.

I'll accept. These are short synopses for operas by Guiseppi Verdi, and you've named every one correctly. To be more specific, they are operas named after their title characters and the synopses detail the broad story arc with relation to that character.
