Not sure theres going to be a june intermodal intake if there only telephone interviewing people in May, as you would need to take the tests, have a dm interview, medical an hand in a your notice period which for most people would be a month.
I'll offer to start there and then
which will put me at a distinct advantage
You think? Maybe if they introduced a gladiator pit instead, things would be so much better. Or offer to work for half the wage, then you'll be at a massive advantage?

There was 8000 applicants for the June intake with only 15 spaces available, you will only be processed if you got all 12 questions correct on the test! Anyone that has applied previously will not be counted unless they re-applied on line! Hope this helps

You're only on 18k for 10 weeks, then 24k for 24 weeks then 37k for 72 weeks after that before getting full drivers salary. Hope that helps!
I've already passed the psychometric tests at Watford. Will they still take into account the online assessment at the end of the application? Not sure I answered them all correctly!! ;-(
Just curious as to where your getting your information from? Cheers
I work for freightliner and have been thru process so it's know my info is correct.
I would think, as above, that they would weed out people who answered incorrectly on the online test first, regardless of whether you've passed psychometric testing before or not. This wouldn't be a consideration at that point, unfortunately. They can afford to be choosy, and TOCs can enforce stricter exams than the required minimum. So if they need you to pass the online test then so you must. I just think it stinks that they don't give you a score! Nor a reason for rejection, just silence
I can assure you that because of the amount of applicants that were recieved only 100% test score will get you thru to the next round, I know this for a fact as I see the new applicant trainer daily! Remember there is only 15 spaces! Sorry to be blunt but there's no need to keep giving people false hope.
Yes I also work for freightliner. There's been a lot of conspiracy between my colleagues, as to how good you have to do in the test. I was under the expression that this was the first time the test was introduced as part of the application process, certainly no one from my end has seen or done it before.
I agree, I'd certainly say having the pyschometric under your belt would give you an edge over others without. I can't see either, that a less than 100% pass on the attlitude test will fail you to go to the next stage. What if your previous employment, qualifications and application is impeccable, but get one question wrong???
There was a huge amount that got the test 100% then they will go thru experience/job history etc.... Remember there is only 15 spaces available.

Just out of intrest, are you based at Ipswich?
Yes this is the first time it's been an online application, they can save a lot of time and money this way by thinning out the applicants that didn't get the test 100% all previous applicants were scrubbed out so they would of needed to do the online test regardless of how far thru the process they were. Brutal I know but keeping costs down now is key.
