I was only saying to my uncle earlier how Doncaster Rovers seem to be a bit unpredictable this season, doing crap against Barnsley recently after beating top of the table Southampton, and they've won again from being 1-0 down to Leicester :D

still getting relegated though :(

Bad news guys, Man Utd could be reinstated in the CL if the Swiss FA do not comply with FIFA and punish FC Sion for the whole debacle with Celtic. FIFA will remove all Swiss teams from UEFA competitions if they do not comply.

Not only that, but the national team would be banned from all competitions as well.....

Back, decided against going to find someone take my anger out on and decided to punch a tree instead. (joke...)

Nothing specifically with Celtic, but Sion fielded 5 inelligible players against them in the EL qualifier but won, this was then overruled because of the rules breach, and Sion have been at war with UEFA ever since.

And Oldham just equalised at Charlton! Fingers crossed.

Our away form, for some inexplicable reason, is far better than our home form. This what I said when Oldham Athletic were home to your team, Sheffield Wednesday (second in the league), last week...and lost 2-0. Today, we play away at Charlton Athletic (the league leaders) and come away with a very creditable 1-1 draw.

Your match against Huddersfield Town which finished 4-4 must have been full of incident.

Wigan Athletic 1...Chelsea 1

Gomez scores an equalising goal for Wigan Athletic very near the end of the game to ensure a home draw against the 3rd placed side in the Premiership.

Brighton down to 9 men inside 20 minutes, and Gus Poyet has stormed down the tunnel in disgust, and it's not even half time yet!

Just seen the highlights on the Football League show, and yet more shocking refereeing!

Yes, both players deserved to get a red card, however, Chris McCann also deserved a red card for his retalition attack on Ashley Barnes, yet no action taken ....

More from the lower leagues...

One for Scottish fans who must dread whatever will happen next.....::roll:

I see that Fort William have actually recently recorded a win in the Highland League to actually quadruple their total points for the season.:D

However the same cannot be said for Strathspey, who now occupy the bottom place in the league.

Fort William......P12...W1..D1..L10.....F 7..A 40....Pts 4
Strathspey......P18....W0..D1..L17....F 12..A56....Pts 1

Back to England and the saga of two teams, this time at the top end of their league.........

Hyde FC (my favourite non-league side) went 8 points clear at the top of the Blue Square Bet North league on Saturday with a 4-2 home win over Vauxhall Motors, whereas second-placed Stalybridge Celtic could only manage a 1-1 away draw against Solihull Moors.

I know there are supporters of other sides in this particular league on this forum who have made postings about their own teams in recent weeks.

Be prepared to kick something then because according to the avfc facebook page he is starting (Bent and Herd are injured with Agbonlahor suspended)

VILLA v Liverpool: Guzan, Hutton, Dunne, Collins, Warnock; Albrighton, Delph, N’Zogbia, Petrov; Heskey, Delfouneso. Subs: Marshall, Bannan, Clark, Cuellar, Weimann, Johnson, Burke.

We've had a small squad for as long as we can remember. We seem to be heading the same way as we were with Doug Ellis

Weimann instead of Delfeu - Delfeo - Delfue- The Fonz for me though.
And Bannan over Delph all day long. Nice to see Johnson on the bench. Hope he gets a run out

World Club Cup Final....Yokohama Stadium, Japan

In a comprehensively midfield co-ordinated team unit plan combined with individual brilliance, Barcelona defeated the reigning South American champions, Santos (Neymar et al), by 4-0 with goals by Messi (2), Cesc Fabregas and Xav, to deservedly win this prestigious football trophy.

Anyhoo I have decided I don't care how many we lose by today as long as someone in claret and blue separates any part of Downing's anatomy from the rest of him. Preferably Head, Legs, or Balls. No chance of removing his spine though as he is a spineless **** already

I'll take that. Perhaps Heskey can do it by taking a shot?

Given his exploits at the WC I'm surprised Suarez is not in goal for them

I have it on good authority from someone I trust who is currently sitting in the Directors Box at VP that Bent isn't out through illness at all but because of a bust up.
He will be gone in January.
We will be relegated in May

Any of the McLeish apologists wanna take a bet against
