Villa are a team I detest. My best mate supports them and over time we have begun massive hates for each others clubs. Villa will always say they relegated us but really, we were always going down. Sending Villa down in our final away match would be great but after going to Upton Park on Tuesday night, I saw enough which suggested to me they will stay up. They outpowered the Hammers for the first 20 minutes and then a Villa player (Ayew?) stupidly and I mean stupidly elbowed a Hammer player in the face. What he was thinking I will never know. They WILL stay up, going down will be us/West Brom, Bournemouth and Norwich.

Never quite understood all this about Newcastle and Villa fans. I don't know many Villa fans who give a rats about Newcastle to be honest and the hatred seems to be very much one way.
I was there the day of that game and I saw plenty of pi55 taking but no real animosity. We know we didn't relegate you just put the final nail in the coffin.
I know Newcastle fans hold on to the hatred a bit as they thought we gloated a bit but to be honest whatever team you played that day would have done exactly the same as it was quite a story having a club of Newcastle's size get relegated. Just as we are experiencing a lot of it this year.
The "Who is your next Messiah. Ant or Dec?" banner was one of the funniest things I have seen at football but I guess Villa fans have a better sense of humour than Newcastle fans. As seen last Saturday singing "You're going down with The Villa" at Norwich fans
Seriously fella. Let it go. Football goes round and round and pi55 taking is all part of the fun. We don't hate you at all. If anything we have sympathy at the way your club has been run as we are experiencing it too

Klopp done a worst job than Rodgers so far but as predicted avoids the stick from the fans.

Yeah they are all saying give him time, not his team and so on and so forth.

even though at the start of his reign they were all saying he would get the best out of the players.

Or after tonight that he played a lot of kids.

Every excuse going to cover all bases

Avoids stick from which fans? A few Liverpool fans you know down south? Please! A few of your mates may have replica shirts but a lot of us are scousers.

And yet still nothing in your rebuttal ;)

Alright. So I have to slag him off. We get Caulker and sling him on last minute up front. We bring Benteke on late in the game against Stoke and apparently he seems to be stuck out wide to lumber around doing nothing until it goes to penalties. Is that enough or does it have to be your local mates in replica shirts?

You don't have to do anything to appease me I was only teasing you. And this

Is that enough or does it have to be your local mates in replica shirts?

Is a rather pathetic comeback seeing as you don't even know if I may or may not know lots of Liverpool fans who actually live in Liverpool or the surrounding areas.

for the record I have none that I know locally and never see a shirt locally so you are some way off the mark there with your wild fantasies

So when you said

"Yeah they are all saying give him time, not his team and so on and so forth.

even though at the start of his reign they were all saying he would get the best out of the players."

did you just make it up? Who were they?

You said yourself

"for the record I have none that I know locally and never see a shirt locally so you are some way off the mark there with your wild fantasies"

so I guess it was you who had wild fantasies.

I know plenty of season ticket holders at Anfield as well as having a lot of family in the city and the general consensus is that Klopp does not get the stick he maybe deserves. Massively weakened squads, scraping into the League Cup final, a lack of January moves..... an endless list of negatives since he has come in.

Why didn't he put out a full strength side ?

The League is way beyond them so put the youngsters out there and the first team players in the Cup.

So the Reds you know slag him off. But in general people you don't know don't. Do you support Everton? :D

100% agree. Klopp another manager which is leading to the FA Cup being seen as now only a minor competition by many youngsters getting into the game. The decline of it in the last 15 years is overwhelming to say the least.

No, I would be the person who has made many friends from Liverpool over the years and still keep in touch with them on a regular basis and can see from the wonderful world of social media(they are my friends after all) what they say.

Also I do like to dive into RAWK for a good laugh after they lose, meltdowns are amazing and that's not just the foreign fans you have either

If Liverpool had won the League a couple of years ago would the team have fallen apart as comprehensively as it has ?

Mind you anything is possible look at what has happened to Chelsea this year.

So you know loads of Reds who think Klopp has been a tremendous success so far?

Money has been the downfall of Football in the excesses witnessed since the formation of The Premier League.

There is to much exposure in the media and it has lost it's cache.

I think most live matches should be ended, SKY and BT kicked out and football return to it's spiritual home on BBC and ITV.

Maybe because the youngsters actually played quite well ;)

Great game to be at, terrific atmosphere at Upton Park, will miss the old ground on nights like this.

Only downer was the number of injuries, and the slow journey home past the High Output Ballast Cleaner at Kelvedon :(

What would that do to the money that deals like the ones with Sky and BT do for the game, particularly at lower levels?

Adam Johnson pleads guilty to sexual activity with a child and grooming. Pleads non guilty to 2 other counts of sexual activity.

How Sunderland let him play on is beyond me.

Innocent until proven guilty mean anything to you? Would you want to carry on working if you were in a similar position? What if all charges were dropped?

I wonder what Sunderland would have done if this had been a youth team player and not one of their better players and goalscorer at a time they were scrapping for survival.
I reckon if I was in the same situation as Johnson I would have been sacked. At the very least put on paid suspension until after the case

I doubt you could be sacked until you were found guilty. As your representative I would argue very strongly against that in your disciplinary hearing! ;)

A suspension for non disciplinary reasons followed by swift termination of employment on being found guilty would be the outcome in the real world.

My point being that is what Sunderland should have done. And would have had Johnson not been so useful to them
