Only seen photos of it but Raphael's looked very nasty. Two feet off the ground and all that...
It was a horror, a leg breaker if ever I've seen one. Amazing that we get Matt Smith sent off for brushing a player yet a two footed lunge is only a yellow.
I watched both games today. Adebayor is a strange one, frozen out by AVB completely, told to train with the youth team (which apparently he did without making a fuss)
Sherwood brings him back and he's look good. He was actually superb today, should have had a hat trick but for one of teammates being greedy.
In the 2nd game, Chelsea scored totally against the run of play, slight bit of luck for Eto'o with the deflection but all credit to him because the midfield never gave him the ball in the first 15 minutes. He then dropped deeper, won the ball himself and fashioned his own chance, really really good play. Chelsea then dominated and deserved the win, not sure what Evans and Valencia were doing for the third goal.
WBA v Everton live tomorrow. I'm actually down in the West Midlands, travelling from Manchester around 4.30pm so should to get my hotel for kic off.
