Does anybody know why Crawley sold there two top forwards, when there were currently top of league 2?.Is that a reason Steve Evans left recently?

I'm suspecting money has ran out, as selling their top two assets and the manager leaving?

Another utterly disgraceful performance by Leeds United last Monday. Yet another sending off, this time Michael Brown for a high tackle. Can anyone tell me though what the rule is on kicking the ball out of play if a player is injured? In the last two home games an opposition player has gone down injured, the team and the manager have seen it yet they have played on refusing to kick the ball out of play to stop the game for their ‘possibly’ injured teammate, Leeds win the ball back and refuse to kick the ball out as well and all hell breaks loose. Opposition players running to the ref complaining, Nigel Cluff on the pitch shouting at the ref and then berating Warnock! I don’t really get it, is it something that just happens against Leeds or does this happen often? Anyway, that’s that rant over…

No it only happens against Leeds. Because as you keep telling us the whole world, his dog, and the dogs fleas hate Leeds and we are are jealous of the fact you are one of Europe's great clubs

When did I say we was one of Europe's great clubs? Yes we should have won a European Cup and a cup winners cup in addition to the two Fairs (UEFA-Europa league) cups but we've hardly had the consistency to stay near the top of the English leagues never mind the European competitions.

I just wondered what the crack was with this ball out of play rule. You would have thought that someone had just slapped Nigel Cluffs wife in the face and pushed his kids in a puddle given his reaction. We couldn't understand it given that he'd directed his own team to continue play. Very odd, Forest did the same thing as well. I just wondered if we had broken some rule by not booting the ball out, I could see no other reason for the mental, hypocritical reaction from the Alchi's son.

there is no rule, its just deemed good sportsmanship.

There isn't one. It is up to the referee to decide when to stop play which he should do instantly when there is a head injury only.
It is generally good sportsmanship to kick it out but the FA clarified it since it was not consistent what should be done.

It seems a so-so Man U have the title again, which shows how lacklustre the PL has become. Also shows how far mind games, diving and intimidation of referees will get you. Not that I'm bitter.

Well, with the current abysmal home form that Wrexham have suddenly produced, I can't see anything that Fleetwood Town need to do making any difference to what looks like a "racing certainty".....excuse this pun on Grand National day..

I now write this a few hours later, as once again Wrexham still cannot win at home.....

...And the Hibs are going to the Scottish cup final :grin: after a tricky semi against Aberdeen. A united, strong performance, topped off with two outstanding goals from Garry O'Connor and Leigh Griffiths sealed our date with Hearts/Celtic in May..

The liver will take a serious pummelling tonight, and the pre-match nerves have aged me ten years...
