I believe the program's running order is actually decided by the producers and Mr Lineker...
What would these people base their decisions upon ?

From what I recall of the MOTD 50th Anniversary documentary, entertainment value, and importance where necessary. Naturally it's an impossible job!
I doubt it too. Neither team was brilliant but then discipline never gets plaudits.
No, because that didn't happen. The "shots on target" stat showed it best as 1-1.
We made it before Southampton (4-0!) on MOTD and I doubt this game was better than that one. And in case you think is because of us then we've been dead last 2 (3?) times.

Just wanted to add by the way that I went to our away at your place the season before last and as always it was a brilliant day out. Your staff and fans were very friendly as always.
If Manchester United are playing
If Manchester City are playing
If Chelsea are playing
If Arsenal are playing
If Liverpool are playing
Any high scoring game
The rest
Stoke City.
. I'm sure it's more complicated than that of course but it's often what it feels like
While it may do, it is probably because these teams tend to have more people who are interested in their results, hence why they are put on in the 'better' slots (normally the first places).
It's all about demand. Whether you agree with it or not, there is more interest in these clubs and thus the BBC meet the demand by putting those games on in that order.
Although sometimes there are cracking teams which involve clubs that people may not normally take an interest in, and rightly they move 'up' the order.
It wouldn't be as frustrating if the BBC came out and admitted their bias. I guess the same reason is why they only pay lip service to teams not on the "like" list.
I guess it works though hence the 50 years but they've lost my viewing. Central news has the goals anyway
4-0 isn't a cracking team performance? Our game was not better than Southampton's.

It's always good to hear that. Football fans get an undeserved rap IMO.

0-0 at the City Ground in a game which has been tough and hard if lacking "beauty"
F A Cup....Qualifying First Round
F C United of Manchester 4....Prescot Cables 1
Strange to note that both the main team and their rebel offshoot playing on a Sunday and both scoring four goals.

I note that the stuttering start made by Real Madrid in La Liga which show them as only holding a mid-table position (shades of a certain English team in the Premiership) was not reflected last night in their opening match of their group stage of the Champions League with a 5-1 home win over Basel, who are the second-seeded team in that group. Both Bale and Ronaldo scored to help achieve this victory.

It looks like that John Coleman will be returning to the management post at Accrington Stanley, where he spent many years in his first managerial spell there.
Only good thing about drawing these games is that we are now on 6 match unbeaten run and I'm sure this will continued next Saturday when we meet David team Scunthorpe.
Hyde 5-1 Lowestoft Town
Hyde first win since January 2014 and first home win since 9th April 2013 I believe. I'm sure Paul will be very happy with that scoreline.![]()
What the <expletive> happened at the King Power Stadium?hock: Man Utd 3-1 and cruising, followed by the big red self destruct button being pressed!
hock:
The need for two top quality central defenders cannot be hidden for ever.
Tottenham Hotspur 0...West Bromwich Albion 1
Well, that is certainly one result that I was not expecting today.
Manchester United signed a lot of very good players in loads of positions they didn't need to.
I think defensive weaknesses were evident today. I'm not convinced of Rojo at the back one bit.
However (and I'm not at all surprised that nobody else has mentioned this), Clattenberg and his team were rather generous towards Leicester today. For their first goal, the ball looked out, even the poor quality still that was shown at half time seemed suggest that.
Leicester's first penalty was the result of two referring errors. Firstly, Vardy's barge on Rafael outside of the box was a foul, and then Rafael's 'response' inside the box was rather light contact. Put it this way - Even Jamie Carragher thought that the challenge outside the box was a foul and then the penalty was soft. And he's not exactly United's biggest fan....
Leicester's second penalty was, no question about it. By that point we had imploded defensively and it was immaterial by that point. Leicester did also go into the game with a good attitude throughout and that approach - with discipline where required - should seem them do well this season.
There was no conclusive proof the ball was out, the ref has to be sure the whole ball has crossed the line just like he did before technology with the goal line. So you can't really moan about that.
In addition, Di Mario fired a shot way wide of the goal and Clattenburg awarded a corner when it was at least 5 yards away from hitting any Leicester player, the resulting corner saw Rojo miss a free header. No mention of that in your post
And to sum it up, Wayne Rooney should have been sent off, he ranted with a tirade of F's and C's at the ref after the first pen and repeated it again in the 2nd pen, only receiving 1 yellow.
No mention of that either, it wasn't quite as Leicester biased as some want to make out
Plus the Manchester United fans racial abuse of Mario Balotelli is disgusting.
A lot of them had Manchester United players in their twitter pictures, there is a screenshot knocking around showing the worst of it.Di Maria and the corner that wasn't - of course it wasn't a corner, that one was quite and simply wrong. I didn't mention it because it had no bearing whatsoever on the result!
Rooney and his alleged language - How can you be so sure of what he said? I mean don't get me wrong, I'm sure he wasn't saying very nice things, but you seem to be absolutely sure of what he was saying and the punishment that should be awarded for it. Do footballers not give abuse to referees all the time and not get punished for it?
Balotelli abuse - first I've heard of this to be honest. Of course I'd be among the first to condone such behaviour but I genuinely haven't heard a single thing about it.
Edit - I've found the 'abuse': http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/sep/21/mario-balotelli-racist-abuse-manchester-united
Effectively some idiots on Twitter who could be anybody responding to one of Mario's tweets about todays game. They're not exactly Man Utd fans in the same way as people in the ground; these guys could be anybody, not necessarily Man Utd fans, could just be racist trolls. (What I'm trying to say is that this is slightly different to what you inferred in your post as if it was groups of Man Utd fans, clearly identifiable as such, in a stadium or something in public.)
