Or better still, we just accept that mistakes are made - by referees, players and biased supporters.
So you condone cheating?
I have no problem dealing with mistakes. I support Halifax Town so I see thousands a season, from players and referees. Lots of my mates say my ongoing support is the biggest mistake of all
A few weeks ago I saw the worst sending off decision I’ve ever witnessed - ref signalled a throw in and in doing so hit a player in the throat, who reacted by bringing his hands up, clipping the refs arm, and the ref sent him off - and whilst we were angry to lose a player we accepted that in fifth division football you get fifth division decisions
But I do have an issue with out and out cheating, and Bamford last night is an example. Not exaggerating contact. Not manufacturing contact by moving into the defender. They’re grey areas. Literally throwing himself to the ground with zero contact is not acceptable and he deserves to be banned for it
