There will be no more Urban repaintsIn my opinion, I think it'll be a 50/50 chance of Urban or First

What about the Gemini buses? There’s still a few Ex-Manchester ones, and 37187 & 37192 still to be done. There will be no more Urban repaints
They'll be going into Urban no doubt. What about the Gemini buses? There’s still a few Ex-Manchester ones, and 37187 & 37192 still to be done.
I don't think they're going to be replacing E400MMCs (From my knowledge).Surprised they haven't got the Ex Manchester vehicles ready for service yet to be honest unless there isn't a rush for them yet. Is there more E400mmcs due to leave the fleet once they do enter service?
Yes, That is the reason that Glasgow have the B9sI thought they were additional due to bus shortages?
Service has been registered by Midland Bluebird. This is a weird service for first Glasgow.
They were brought up early because of the Manchester franchise loss. There are changes at the end of June which will need, at least, some of them.Surprised they haven't got the Ex Manchester vehicles ready for service yet to be honest unless there isn't a rush for them yet. Timetable Changes.Fleet or timetable changes?
From Sunday the 23rd of June, revised timetables will be introduced with minor adjustments on the following services:
9/9A: Paisley/Penilee/Braehead - Buchanan Bus Station
43: Parkhead Forge - Easterhouse/Glasgow Fort
Extended to Glasgow Fort, Monday - Saturday
60/60A: Clydebank/Milngavie - Easterhouse
61: Summerston - Sandyhills
For updated timetables, please visit here.
I usually use the first 9 journey every day, alighting at Buchanan, the fact it will now finish on Hope Street is a bit of a kick in the teeth.Went down a bit of a rabbit hole with these new timetables since the 61 is local to me…
Is there any human involvement in the production of these AI timetables, or is the whole thing just spat out as the finished product? Just wondering because the new 61 evening timetable manages to break the co-ordination with the 240 that has given 4 evenly spaced buses an hour from the City through Parkhead and Tollcross – not quite every 15 minutes, but nearly – for as long as I can remember. After about 9pm the buses run through the town within minutes of each other with 25 minute gaps – at least one journey runs on top of a 240.
I think using AI to get more realistic running times is a brilliant idea, but *someone* should be intervening to check that the finished timetables make sense. My godmother lives in Newton Mearns and has to try and get her head around a 33-36 minute frequency on the 38. I’m alright, I use the app, but with paper timetables now history, First seem to be doing their best to drive away their core punters.
There has always been a early morning 9 that finishes on Hope Street, AFAIK.I usually use the first 9 journey every day, alighting at Buchanan, the fact it will now finish on Hope Street is a bit of a kick in the teeth.
yes, it’s usually the 9A’s that finish short though, and there’s iirc 2 in the afternoon that are short too. There has always been a early morning 9 that finishes on Hope Street, AFAIK.
Does anyone know what the change in route is for the 7/7A?

Sunday timetables increased to approximately every 15 minutes, with alternate journeys to Braehead.
- 90: Will now terminate at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Links to Braehead from Queen Elizabeth University Hospital remain in place via Service 77.
Considering that the 41 doesn’t go into the fort from Edinburgh Rd it does make sense somewhat to put the 43 into the Fort.Just looking at the 43 timetable and it appears to also have a route change. From the new timetable it appears that it now starts from Glasgow Fort then on to Easterhouse shopping centre and then the current route.
Personally I am not a fan of services begining at the Fort as the bus station there is horrible.
Can change at QEUH plenty of buses to Braehead from there no great lossThe 90 removed between Braehead and QUEH breaks a useful link between the southside and Braehead.
Aye, You are able to get buses like First Bus 77 (Every 15 or so minutes) and McGill's bus services - 23, 23P Etc. (Every 30 minutes)Can change at QEUH plenty of buses to Braehead from there no great loss

You've got a point there. No great loss? Just the southside cut off from a major shopping area!
Changing is a pain and it's another fare and interchanging at the QUEH is a waste of time - you may as well interchange in town.
Another fare, just buy an all day or buy a tripper ticket problem solved, people just love to moan.No great loss? Just the southside cut off from a major shopping area!

They will probably get their Glasgow branding back soon.It seems Glasgow has lost some of its B9Tls to Aberdeen with 37223, 37539 and 33748 which had been on loan reviving first Aberdeen legal lettering.
They are permanent as no other E400s are now coming. They replaced the 2 withdrawn Citaros and the last E500s, as 33703 has never been fitted with a hopper or repainted yet. They will probably get their Glasgow branding back soon.
They are only just a cover until Aberdeen gets the rest of their Ex-Manchester E400s and as soon as the Hydrogen pumps being fixed too for the Hydrogen Streetdecks.
So much for them wanting to standardise the diesel fleetThey are permanent as no other E400s are now coming. They replaced the 2 withdrawn Citaros and the last E500s, as 33703 has never been fitted with a hopper or repainted yet.
