2 new E400MMCs branded for the 75 are at Caledonia. Not sure if there are anymore but definately saw the 2. Hopefully they start service pretty swiftly.
Mechnically yes, as I'm aware anyways first and stagecoach usually buy the standard bus(its cheaper), not sure of the interior, they will have leather seats, thats a given, the flooring might be one-tone wood effect like the latest refurbs seen at FiG, or the ones at Livi, my biggest annoyance with the eLeather they use isits durability, glasgow 62/63 plate 300's are finding the seats wrinkled and already worn out after 5 year
When comparing buses the only few options you find on lothians are the extra glazing on the staircase, roof and upper A-pillars, the durabright alloys and a white LED hanover, apart from these things the streetdecks are standard with a voith gearbox, zf an options.
Or standard with a zf gearbox on a volvo chassis
View attachment 52643 View attachment 52642 I like what wright bus had done with these, change the fabric to purple and these would look mint.
The lighlty coloured floor shows up dirt far too easily as well, take note FiG.
First's new standard seats are Pratico. It's hard to properly tell from the photos but it appears these new E400s are not standard specification. The grab rails are certainly not pink, perhaps a grey or purple (matching the Refurbished Geminis).
The Seats also appear to be the Lazzerini Pratico 3840 models rather than the standard Esteban Civic V3.
Their going to wait until all 25 are their for the 752 new E400MMCs branded for the 75 are at Caledonia. Not sure if there are anymore but definately saw the 2. Hopefully they start service pretty swiftly.
Does the 75 need 25 buses?
My thoughts exactly. Wasn’t there 25 E500s? They were split between the 75, 4 and 5 routes. Perhaps that’ll happen here.
Hopefully this releases more B9TLs to be refurbished for the 61 and 60 routes.
There were 5 looking about ready to come at Alexanders a couple of days ago, including one with the new digital mirrors.

18 and the 75 for the e400mmc
Also zoom into the first single decker it says its for the 242 even though it was reported on here that service wasnt getting any new buses, cant make out what the last 2 buses are for
I wouldn't base the types used on different services based off what you see on that "advert". They'll just use the same single decker type on it for all 3 of those routes for simplicity.
242 is not a simplicity route. It is operated by Overtown depot and does not go anywhere near Glasgow city centre. Overtown are definitely getting some new e200s so it is possible that these will indeed go on to the 242
43 e400mmc 22 for the 75/ 21 for the 18 30 e200mmc are due as well don't know who their for yet
Things can change as theirs 43 e400mmc now due 22 for the route 75 which mostly during the day is a every 7 minutes service and the other 21 are for the 18 don't no anything yet about the 30 or 32 e200mmcThis initial batch are confirmed at only being 25 vehicles. So i'd assume that's the 22 for the 75 (didn't think the PVR was that high) plus 3 spare. With the next batch being for the 18. It's meant to be 75 new deckers in total in 3 batches of 25.

Only 32 e200mmc which will go on 3 routes so a can't see the 38 being one due to a high pvr looks like a 34 on one of them but not 100per cent sureThe green coloured bus at the back looks like it says 38. Wonder how they would manage putting the 38 back to singles. Nice to see the 18 get new buses as they were screaming out for them. Wonder if they’ll scrap the 53 plates prematurely. Blantyre have got a pretty nice fleet now.
Mint green is 34 ( this is bonkers route because it does NOT go via the City centre...) Violet is 65??? 65 is a SPT route. The Mint Green E200 looks like it says 34, Violet one appears to say either 16 or 46? Pink one is clearly the 242.

Service 65 is only a spt service to bridgeton from there it is commercial and is interworked with service 64 so would that service not need to be route branded aswellMint green is 34 ( this is bonkers route because it does NOT go via the City centre...) Violet is 65??? 65 is a SPT route.
