HI Guys,

Does anyone know the format of the TEAocc test. From what I understand you have to look for something on a map while counting low tones and ignoring high tones while at the same time counting what floor you are on in a faulty lift. This sunds a bit tricky but if anyone can shed some light on this i would be very greatful.

guys, do you get anything to help you practice or revise for these tests, or do you source it for yourself ? The FCC application site send it would send you a pack if you get to this stage.......... is that true?

If I hadn't joined this forum, I would literally be turning up blind

There should be 4 PDF files attached to the email inviting you to book an assessment centre slot. These contain all the practice material.

I passed telephone interview but no assessment date as of yet

I remember on the day of the stage 1 tests being asked if we had received all the practice materials.
One guy put his hand up and said he hadnt received part of them, so they told him to go home and they would re send the paperwork and put him on a future assessment day!

I passed the online tests & telephone interview, been waiting for a date for assessment, haven't heard anythingso called to see what the situation is and was told that due to very high number of applications they are only able to assess 75 people on 14,15 & 16th. Those 75 were the highest scorers on the online test, they may run more assessments in Feb or April if enough don't get through. They should be emailing something today. Good luck to anyone on here who has got their assessment next week. Hope anyone waiting finds this up date useful.

I just got the email, details held on file for a possible assessment later.

No guarantee though that there will be a further assessment in the near future, I am really disappointed that I didn't do better but hey, that's how it goes I guess

Top 75, gives you some indication of how many people applied doesn't it

They won't give them to you. I emailed them straight back to ask for the test results to get an idea if i was close or not but they said that they don't give them out at this stage. Shame really as it's always good to know.

Did anyone else get this email who had previously been through the process before but had come unstuck throughout the assessment stages? I did think that because i came unstuck on the reactions test last time that they may have just thought that it may be a waste of time putting through previous applicants who have failed so put them on the back burner. If it is then i guess i understand i suppose. Not really sour grapes on my part either but i thought i fared relatively well in all of the online tests and the telephone interview.

Anyway, to echo the last post. All the best to those who got through...fingers crossed for you!

Had my second stage assessment last week.

Passed all the tests and now waiting on results from the MMI.

All I can say for the MMI is make sure you have good answers for the questions that are asked and make sure you don't lie. Use real life situations otherwise you WILL get caught out.

Got my feedback today. Passed all the computer tests. Didn't succeed at the MMI. I wasn't strong enough on 1 area and you need to have strong answers for all the areas to move forward.

Perked up a bit by the news. Was a tad p****d off when I found out I wasn't successful. But I can see where I slipped up and gives a chance to improve on that area. Onward and upwards!

As for advice, just make sure you have thoroughly prepared strong and relevant answers. As above, I know the area I wasn't strong with and now looking back I can see why it wasn't as strong as some of my other answers. It's not as daunting as people make out. It's designed to filter out those who have the best likelihood of succeeding further up the line.

If you can break your answer down to these 4 points. Elaborate on each of them but without drifting away from the original question asked. I've heard of many people with a strong answer, but spent too much time waffling on about every detail which became irrelevant and therefore they were marked down for not answering the original question.

Be factual too! For those that don't have a lot of life or customer service experience, I feel you may struggle. You are asked in depth about certain aspects of the examples you give. If your telling porkie pies, it will definitely show up!

In short:
Use star method
Keep focused on the question
Be factual
Take your time, there's no rush!
Be relevant

I wasn't too confident after coming out of the MMI especially after my interview only lasting an hour and everyone else's about 1 and a half hours. But I got the email today saying I'm through to the last stage, the DM interview so if you haven't heard yet, hang in there.

As for advice, can't really add anything that hasn't already been said as it's good advice that's already been written.

Just think about the qualities they want and mention the key words in your answers. Remember the OPC aren't judging whether they think you can do the job, they're only assessing your attitude and personality. That's quite important to remember. You don't have to impress them with how well you've done in your specific career so far whatever it is.

Zoomshane - well done for being positive, you'll nail it next time, you know you will, all the best mate.

Has anybody sat a DM interview since the new assessments came in?

Just wondering if it has changed since the old assessments and is it similar to the MMI or just a normal interview with "what do you know about the company", "why do you want to be a driver" type questions? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Anyone have any idea when start dates are for these positions if successful on the final stage? Heard at first that it is April/May time but then heard that they have been brought forward to March. Any ideas?

I have heard the start dates are in March but that will need to be a quick process with medicals and interviews etc..
