Not the actual new home, that’ll be at Bedford. I assume their just at Cricklewood for convenience when on driver training runs.

A move is planned for tomorrow to Cricklewood. The one last week was cancelled. Once numbers are known I will update the list.

I don’t think they will personally - unless extra capacity is needed for social distancing or additional stock is needed for Corby, although this is unlikely as their won’t be enough work for 26 360s. Not to mention that the TfL units are owned outright by Heathrow as opposed to a leasing company.

Oddly enough I noticed today that the top speed label in the cab hasn’t been updated in the modified units - I’m guessing this will be changed once the units are refurbished?

They are still electronically limited to 100mph with Ga

It was caused by a assumption made by someone obsessed with where they think units should go following an update the class 360 Wikipedia page that said EMR against the 360/2s. Wiki was later corrected.

They are still electronically limited to 100mph with Ga

Makes sense while there is a mixed fleet, and no need for 110mph capability. IIRC the Class 350/1s were all "activated" at once.

There's also Ilford to Cricklewood paths in for next Tuesday and Wednesday next week - perhaps having another go at delivering sets to EMR. Hope they take the right coupler this time!

360115 has gone up today. Either the rear driving car of 360115 or 47749 had wheel flats but I'm not sure which one

I thought 350's and 360's had WSP and Sanding equipment? Am I wrong?

360’s definitely do but you can still slide in any train with Wheel Slide Protection. It’s better than not having it but it’s by no means perfect.

Ok, I just thought that WSP and sanding would reduce sliding significantly.

For the incident the rails must have been really slippy and the train must have been going quite fast downhill to cause wheel flats like that. Does anyone know what actually happened?

Probably 115 then as one of the 360’s had a big slide on the Harwich branch last weekend.

I saw 115 at Colchester on Monday working between Liverpool Street and Colchester Town then the shuttle for the remainder of the day. All seemed fine with it.

Driver was approaching a permanent speed restriction, applied the break as normal and had a big slide.

The RHTT does run on the Harwich branch as far as Harwich International, saw it last Monday.
