About 7 minutes ago. It's left again now though of course.
Errr wouldn't the 1930 have arrived an hour ago?

Yes.... unfortunately, given the (perhaps sad) fact that there is no google streetview for railways, all it can do is find the nearest streetview street, and try to point towards where the train actually is
If this were a coach service, then it would be a lot more useful!
Ben
I should add, that I still see it displaying speed at (approx) half the actual speed too.. . . . The problem is that onbboard and offboard speeds are reported using different units, and working out which conversion to use is tricky. . . . .
Speeds are displaying correctly for me, but I get script errors? Anyone else having this problem?
I don't really get the point of that map ...

Yes, on IE, but not on Firefox.

You should, as you state in your profile "Life should be funnier"![]()

It's good when you're actually on a train, because you get an idea of where exactly you are.I don't really get the point of that map ...

That misses the main point of the map, which is for when you're on-board an East Coast service.Yes but I'm at home, so how am I supposed to know which train I am following ?

When viewed from home (or anywhere that isn't an East Coast train), then it's just data from a seemingly random unit that's used to render the map, so that something is displayed.
Assuming you're connected to the WiFi, yes.So if I'm on an EC train, will the map update automatically according to the train I'm travelling in ?

We believe it's this train (unless the feed has changed!), and it's quite easy to work out which service it's on, from the live departure boards.
Even when following the train you are on using the on-board wi-fi feed?Speeds are displaying correctly for me, but . . . . .
Yes, as an improvement on the minescule map on the welcome page from the on-board server (just as explained in this thread's first post). So if I'm on an EC train, will the map update automatically according to the train I'm travelling in ?
Yeah I suppose it's 91 or 43 ...
