Cross Country does link both, but takes over 4 hours to do so.

That would send Loganair away. Good chunk of flyers from Scotland to Southampton are connecting to and from cruises.Time for Edinburgh to Southampton - that would be a really useful addition.

That's the thing - Loganair are great but the prices are criminal. It's the same thing to a lesser degree with Manchester, you have both cruise passengers and holidaymakers connecting to Bournemouth and WeymouthThat would send Loganair away.
