I did one time see the guard of a class 150/1 terminating with a service from Stratford-upon-avon at Stourbridge junction and saw him change the destination to Pwllheli this was back in central trains days in 2004.

In early Central Trains days a Stourbridge Junction to Pwllheli through service, with a 150, wouldn't have been as entirely implausible as it is today!

Best I can manage is a TPE 170 at Leeds that should have been going to Huddersfield with Hazel Grove on the blind instead - a station TPE doesn't serve.

The driver assured me there was a fault with the blind and he was actually heading to Huddersfield!

This was taken on Friday at Salisbury; not my photo - it was sent to me by someone who is not a forum member and is posted with his permission:

The 08:13 to Manchester Victoria from Stalybridge (from Hud) is usually made up of 142+150, and today the Pacer was a Merseytravel one with a flipdot display. It said Colne!

Back in Central Trains days I remember a class 153 arriving Lincoln for Peterborough with Peartree on the destination blind, I let the driver know and he said its on Peterborough. He told me Peterborough was always after the Nuneaton destination, but in this case Peatree was between Nuneaton and Peterborough so I guess he had scrolled by Nuneaton and just put it on Peatree thinking it was Peterborough.

Ive also seen Bath Spa and Bristol on a Centro class 150/1 on Snow Hill services.

Some Central Trains blinds had: Bath Spa, Bristol, Leeds, York on them some strange reason.

In the absence of the 158/159 at Waterloo I saw displaying Drem, and the FGW hire-in from SWT with 'Cheltenham Spa' on the front (as that's not very unusual ;) ), how about Blackpool Pleasure Beach? :)

This one isn't nearly as good but found at Kings Cross...

Edit: Found the Waterloo - Drem service!

The original 158 destination screens will cycle between English and Welsh for all Welsh places. FGW 158s display Cardiff Central/Caerdydd Canolog for example.
Also Central Trains 158 on Citylink, back in the day!

Just remembered I saw a terminating Metrolink tram in Piccadilly station once (an M5000), and the boards on the inside said 'Next: Headshunt'.

Unfortunately, Maps has stopped.
I've left Euston before now with the blind showing "Milk and Beans" vice Milton Keynes. And I've left Euston with "Bah Humbug".
Also left Bedford with the rear blind showing "Shirley".
I've had a 321 showing "Seven Sisters". On the Desiro's, the driver can manually input anything he likes into the PIS system. The system on the 321's uses a code system, so you can find all sorts of things on it, just from fiddling with it.

I do remember seeing a Stagecoach bus late at night in Teesside on its way back to the depot bearing an electronic destination sign of 'Bed'!

Tyne and Wear stock with "Doncaster" and more recently "Wembley" on the front. :)

More Metrolink fun - a double tram today heading through Victoria - but one tram said 'Bury' and the other sais 'Altrincham via Market Street'!

An FGW 158 at Cardiff Ctl the other day had a fault so managed to display Portsmouth on the top line, but the bottom line was doing a decent impression of a graphic equaliser display.
