@neilmc , no, not St. Pancras.

Size is not actually something to worry about. Station has 2 platforms and other than rush hour, usually 1 train every 2 hours each way....

I was starting to get frantic and thus silly, and thinking -- Santa and his sleigh -- about Sleights station (would you be messing with our heads -- mentioning an "enormous" station, when the answer is actually a tiny one?): but you cite a heavier traffic than I think the Esk Valley service, plus sometimes NYMR, can achieve.

Mine's a bit easier if you think a bit more globally (the station's in England though).
