Bristol Temple Meads and Crewe have both had their platform numbers flipped.
Current platform 15 at Bristol used to be platform 1, while the current platform 1 was old platform 12.
At Crewe the current platform 12 used to be 2, current platform 1 was 6. The bay platforms were once numbered Bay 1-Bay 6 at the south end, later 1A-6A (oddly the diagram I've got has a 2B sticking out like a sore thumb), bays 3-6 are now 8, 7, 4 & 2 in that order - I'm not sure if current platform 3 was a proper platform at the time. At the north end you had Bay 7 - Bay 10, later 1A-4A (which seems to confusingly duplicate those at the south), of which survive Bay 9/3A (now platform 10) and Bay 10/4A (now platform 9).
Llandudno Junction likewise used to have the through platforms allocated substantive numbers, and the bays subsidiary to them. Platform 2 used to be 1A, the other three now-disused bay platforms being numbered in a similar fashion. Current platform 3 was 2, 4 was 3, and the disused through platform was 4.
