Padstow sees the terminal closed station on this four-part leg.

Even though I named the last station, I am throwing this quiz open to anyone who would like to set their own journey to test our knowledge.

If a week elapses and no-one takes up this offer, I will set a new journey leg.

The next new leg starts at the open station of Saltburn and follows the line of the Whitby, Redcar and Middlesbrough Union Railway, then it takes the line of the Scarborough and Whitby Railway, before making its third and final leg along the Scarborough to York line to the open station of York

The first closed station is......
