It then follows the line of the MR Bedford to Hitchin Line...via Cardington
It then follows the line of the GNR Hitchin to Cambridge Line...via Harston
It then follows the line of the GER Cambridge to Mildenhall Line...via Barnwell Junction
It then follows the line of the GER Ipswich to Ely Line...via Fordham
It then follows the line of the Bury St Edmunds to Long Melford Branch Line...via Bury St Edmunds Eastgate
It then follows the line of the Stour Valley Railway...via Long Melford
It then follows the line of the Saffron Walden Railway...via Ashdon Halt
It then follows the line of the GER West Anglia Main Line...link line only, no closed stations
It then follows the line of the Elsenham & Thaxted Light Railway...via Mill Road Halt
The journey ends at the closed station of Thaxted

The first closed station on this journey is Edwalton
