I think 93004 has not moved from Crewe Gresty since I started noticing on 27/07/2026 ?, that is two whole months.

Just to add some complexity I believe the systems are wrong about 93005 & 93006 since 16/09/2026. This is because 93005 was definitely at Crewe Gresty on 22/09/2026 and I was told 93006 was inside the shed on the same date. It is likely that their trip to Northampton on 15/09/2026 resulted in them returning to Crewe Gresty not Crewe South Yard or a subsequent move to Crewe South Yard did not happen. I have been told more than once that it is easy for moves (or differences) between Gresty and South Yard to go unreported as they are so close.

We know sometimes information is input incorrectly or missed. Cannot blame the messenger(s) but just worth being cautious and taking note of actual observations.

My own feeling is that there are a maximum of six 93s at Crewe Gresty Bridge at any one time and that usually six 93s are at Gresty Bridge unless some have gone off to do work/tests. Just now 93002 & 93007 are dragging 180s around and 93006 should be off to work Daventry / Coatbridge as per below.

From internal contact, 93006 is booked down to be working 0Z93 to Daventry for Tuesdays 4Q43.

Yeah they will definitely go unnoticed due to how close the yards are, if you ever look at doncaster on opentimetrains or traksy, u will very commonly see headcodes of locos moving between each of the doncaster yards.
With the headcodes being things like **** or naming the yard it needs to go to

Good point, five 93s out and about.

Can add to that 93001 seems to be used for unit drags where barrier coaches are not required (it has the special couplers still attached I was told). It seems to live at Gresty Bridge judging by my eyeballs and system reports

I assume 0N42 would be crew training ?.
I hold my breath on where they end up - been a while since they visited Crewe Gresty Bridge I feel.

From Internal DRS Contact.
Class 93 testing resumes this time on the Tesco Intermodal. 4S43 now been 4Q43 and return 4M48 as 4Q48. Expected to the 93 + Load 18 Twins. Performance testing on Shap and Beattock.
Class 93 will arrive at Daventry from Crewe on 29th to start 4Q43/4Q48 workings until the 2nd October.

For anyone who has the time and patience this afternoon, it would be interesting to see where 0N94 ends up.
The Crewe map on opentraintimes shows the signal numbers which I like, although Tracksy will also show where it goes.

If 0N94 heads into Crewe South Yard it should reverse in Crewe station - likely P7 - then occupy the berth next to 543 signal. As I've been writing this, 6K61 has passed 543 signal - route also allows access from Basford Hall into Crewe station - and 0H93 is now shown leaving 543 signal (which indicates it did start out of Crewe South Yard, as per schedule) heading into platform 8.

If 0N94 goes to Gresty Bridge this afternoon, from Crewe station it would likely continue towards Nantwich passing 9030 signal, then if you click "To/from Nantwich" it should take you to another map where 9023 signal is a ground position light on the Up Nantwich where locos can reverse to access Gresty Bridge depot.
