Class 707 - SWT: Introduction into service

More 458 on Reading then, nice. Quite like them on the Reading turn, always have. Passengers seem to be ok too (apart from one or two suits I've heard moan on entering the 1st class.)
I must say though, unsure if coincidence, but since SWR took over the toilets on them seem to be more frequently operational.

Appears to be booked this week at least. That diagram starts with the 0609 Reading-London Waterloo. Usually that set comes empty from Farnham Depot and is formed of an 8-450. This week it is stabling at Reading overnight. The stock works the 2220 Waterloo to Reading the stables. The 2220 is being formed of the 10-458 off the 2156 arrival at London Waterloo from Weybridge this week. I'm not sure if this is temporary or a permanent change that hasn't been reported yet.

ie, after 2018, there'll be no first class at all on the Windsor side.

It states quite clearly in the consultation document that first class on the reading route will be permanently discontinued as of December 2018.

They'll just run around declassified, as they've done previously. And the 458/5s are having first class reinstated because they'll be operating services with first class provision for at least a year.

The 450s displaced from the Reading route will be used to replace the 456s off the Guildford Ascot shuttles, and to strengthen 450 operated services all over the mainline side that do not already run as maximum length.

Because between now and Dec 2018 first class will still be available on the Reading route.

2S41 was today a single 458, may be related to the chaos at Wimbledon Panel earlier (A lot of Weybridges were cancelled outright).

7028+7029 were running the standard Staines Loops<->Reading test paths today.

I realise that this is a few days old now; is this the general diagrams for the 707s at the moment? In other words, is the highlighted by me service (the 0558 Guildford-Waterloo) likely to be a 707 during this week? (If I can get away with being late for work to satisfy my rail enthusiasm...!)

Still correct this week as far as I am aware. The 0558 Guildford-Waterloo was definitely a pair of 707s today, as the return working to Woking was reported as breaking down at Wimbledon causing chaos.
