2R45 1615 London Waterloo-London Waterloo via Richmond and Brentford

Can I just check - do you mean 14.37? Based on the time of the ecs and how tight that looks between 15.37 and 16.15?

Presumably this will release a second pair of 458/5 for the Reading line - if so, does anyone know which turn?

Thank you for your reply. Looking further I guess it could be two extra pairs of 458/5 in the evening peak on the Readings as 2V47/2R53 used to be 2*458/5 as well as 2V39 etc. And then maybe 4 450s for Ascot - Guildford, almost wiping out the 456s on Surrey Heath? (which has to be desirable at this time of the year). It is amazing potentially how much difference just two extra pairs of 707 can make.

Should be one Guildford-Ascot diagram that goes to 450 from Monday. It isn't ideal to have a mix of stock on the line, as two of the diagrams are required to be coupled in the evening, wouldn't work very well if one was a 450 and one a 456!

For anyone interested - the working from Wembley to Dollands Moor to collect this seems to have been cancelled, not sure if this means it's off for this evening.
Yes, the working to Clapham has been cancelled now too. It was only activated at 4.19 this afternoon too! Unless that process is automatic that is.

Hello, are there (or will there be) any Class 707 services on weekends, particularly Saturdays?

Thanks.

Once all of the 707s are in traffic, will there still be a need to run 455s and 450s on the Windsor side or will they all go to the main line?

Short term a number of 450s will have to stay on the Windsor side as Basingstoke Depot do not currently sign 707s and they have several jobs that take them to Weybridge via Hounslow and to Staines.

3973EXL beat me to it!

56312 & 081 in charge, should have been 47813 & 848 except 813 had wheelslip issues at Sharnbrook this morning.

Reported elsewhere as being 301 not 312. No idea which is correct.

*EDIT* Just seen a picture of 301 with 081

Thanks. And after that what happens? are there enough 707s and 458/5s to cover all Windsor line diagrams (including Reading, Weybridge and Hounslow loop) even after the services patterns to Windsor and Reading are increased?

I expect that it is because the train isn't braked, the container wagons are being used to provide enough braking force to the consist

Not sure, there's engineering up at Waterloo again this weekend. Funny thing is this weekend the hourly Woking via Hounslow loop services are being worked by 455s, not 458s. Wonder if it's because they're needed elsewhere? Wouldn't have thought so though, as Sunday services generally require less stock if anything?

It was a 458 on the 07:52 Woking - Waterloo this morning :)

707s parked up in Wimbledon shed (carriage cleaning, not Durnsford road where they are ususlly kept) for tomorrow's diagrams... looks like it's on. 707009 was one of them.
