Looks like I need to do a complete Waterloo to Reading run on one before they go. Wonder what the timings from Waterloo are between 1000-1700?![]()
458515 confirmed on way to wimbledon park. Passed Staines at 00:54
Any ideas as to the extra coach ID in this unit?
74404 has been reported in UKModernEMU forum.
Could the list be updated with the ones now due the overhauls - is it just the ex-gatwick express ones, the ones that were always SWT or both?

What? WWTownEnth has always kept a list of the remaining 458/0 units - since his last posting it appears that 458014 has departed to Doncaster:
The ex-460 units were the first to be converted - this was because they were already OOU and could cover for the majority of 458 units when in service.
For info from this afternoon's web chat:
@DAB_Move, that's the overhauls that I'm refering to
Saw a low loader preparing to take away the rest of 458014 last night.
Been told that 8016 has a fault waiting to be fixed and 8021 is out until it's fixed so really only 4 operational units currently.

09:50, 13:20 and 16:50 departures from Waterloo.
didn't manage to go today, but hopefully I'll manage to go for the 1320 tomorrow.

Will 8006 + 8007 be doing any of the runs this Saturday on the Reading route?
That was my guess as well :P with the units so close to their mileage limits for exams, the last thing they'd want is to add to those figures when it isn't necessary.Last Saturday's service requirement was zero, so unless there's suddenly 25 plus 450 unavailable I wouldn't hold out much hope.
).Have all the 450s got plenty of miles left before their next exams?
I will be corrected if wrong but pretty sure they have or will very soon have finished their overhauls at Eastleigh.
For the C4s for the 458s will each unit just come in, have it's running gear removed, another refurbed running gear attached and then head out, whilst it's old running gear gets refurbed and then attached to another unit?
BTW my name is not Dave.
