3x 321s went from Hornsey to one of the sidings at Peterborough earlier today, courtesy of GBRF (according to Tornado!). They were under their own power though so not sure what they're going for.
387108/113 are currently working thier way to Hornsey. 387102/123 will follow on tomorrow leaving just 9 on Thameslink.
And tonight they'll be inside stripping out anything of value...!
Berth out of th way in accordance with GTR franchise agreement which stated trains are supposed to be around for a month after being cascaded off.
So only 9 of 29 units remain with thameslink?
Do they go to the gn side via the canal tunnels or a different way?mpresume the latter
Are both 317s and 321s going to greater anglia?

You'd better not be implying something about the Peterborough folk...
So from that it looks like AGA won't have more 321s until the new year. In response to another question, yes some of the 317s are coming across too but I can't remember the exact number.

You said never. Clearly that is wrong by example. Your statement was all encompassing and incorrect.
All the same bodyshell tho (379 are different).
yes, please can we have this as an 8 coach train again - particularly something were the heating works! Almost froze on the 313 on Tuesday as there was no heating in the coach I was in. as I get on when it has come out of the siding at Letchworth there isn't enough body heat inside to warm the train until Hatfield which time we are about to get off.Take the 0720 Letchworth- KX. Not got a clue what the rest of the diagram is but it would be good if it could be swapped the an AC only unit. Off topic I know but what is happening to the 313s? Leaf fall issues?

I was under the impression that 379s have the same bodyshell as 387s and late model 377s. What is different about them?
Looks more like a dig at GTR to me :-P
I meant GTR, not locals!
As far as I know, Greater Anglia are getting 6 321s and all 12 317s.

Was on 1722 London - Cambridge yesterday now it is a 387. Lots standing where everyone used to get a seat although it may be because of other disruptions. Lots of "first class" passengers commenting about how they wouldn't pay the difference.

GA have an FAQ section that states "72 extra carriages" (18 units 12 + 6?) from Jan 2017; so that seems to be exactly as planned: https://www.greateranglia.co.uk/investingtoimprove#faq325789
1758 still 2x 321. Just seen ecs pass through Finsbury Park.

From doesn't mean by. It means the start of introducing the 72 extra carriages.
You're barking up the wrong tree again.
I was replying in agreement with the post about the new year, in case someone had mistakenly thought they might be in service in November or December. I emphasised the answer about the new year by adding a supporting quote that says they are intended to be in service FROM January.

The 0842 ex Welwyn Garden City (2Y87) still hanging on this morning with 2 x 321. Pity those trying to get on the 08:12 (2Y85), this also used to be solid dusty bins, but has recently been 2 x 317, but today it was short formed - just a single 317!
Not the wrong tree but your post read differently from your intent. But hey if you want to attack me when what I said is correct, go ahead. Just don't expect me to care about your pettiness.
