The move yesterday was to test the unit transitioning into the tunnel and to test the CBTC equipment. As it’s allocated to the tunnel testing it passed. 345018 has now been accepted by MTR so Not long now till it will finally be in passenger service

Am I right in recalling that the elusive (to me) 345018 is the last unit containing test/monitoring equipment and currently no/not-many seats ?.

Yes, 345017 worked to the signal berth outside Old Oak Common last night signifying the end of its conversion.

Also, yesterday, 345015 was in passenger service for, I think, the first time since its extension to 9-car (although its entry into service might have been earlier in the week).

345018 was reported elsewhere to have been in passenger service this morning on the east side of London returning to Old Oak Depot at the end of its peak working. There is presumably a chance it gets allocated for an afternoon peak working later.

Yes, noticed 016 out East this evening and it has now got EL branding along with 027, 043 and 048.

I assume this is a quick process to update from TfL rail to EL?

Apologies if this duplicates previous reports, but 9-car 345011, 017 and 018 were all in passenger service yesterday (Fri 13th). 345017 on the west side, including the 14.13 Paddington-Reading, and 011 and 018 out of Liverpool Street in the evening peak.

345067 reported elsewhere as being in service this morning out of Paddington completing the entry into passenger service of all 70 units. The diagram it was reported to be working goes into Old Oak Common Depot late morning.

The diagrams on the western side are now more complex with some switching between Heathrow and Reading services.

And there are four (?) remaining 7-car units awaiting lengthening?

Are the additional carriages at Old Oak or at Derby?

Three - 042/056/064. 345038 is converted but not yet in service.

Presumably the six carriages are still at Worksop as those three units are needed for the two Paddington 'platform 14 diagrams'. Does anyone know?

345038 commenced tunnel testing today.I believe it has also worked a few times to Reading on test as a 9 car set

Its first working through the tunnel was last Friday when it worked an ECS move from OOC to Plumstead and return if I remember correctly.5C something

345 067 just ran ecs to Maidenhead; possibly will form the 16.00 to Paddington from platform 5.

Ah good, think that one now goes onto Heathrow services later.
I'm only calculating based on RTT; I could be wrong... having said that, I'm heading back out to Hayes and Harlington to intercept it inbound.

I'm basically hoping that the ecs 3N47 becomes 5N47 which forms the 16.00...

Edit - looks like 3N47 is forming 5R73 at Maidenhead (1602 to Reading then 9P73 1648 Reading to London Paddington) with a different unit for the 1600 from Maidenhead to Paddington

Confirmed... It's 345 053 on the 16.00 and I don't have time to wait for the other one to come back. ☹️
