There are a couple of 8 vice 10 diagrams on the GE side today as shown on GAs Journey Check. Also just passed a pair 321R and 321 non PRM on the 08:36 LST to Colch Town. And another pair on the 09:23 Ipswich- LST.

Oh I just wanted to double check, because the doors I saw on 409 were the motor coach and 1st class coaches and they were in perfect working condition
You do realise the reference was about the doors to the toilets, not the external doors? At least that’s how I read it.

Nah thing is that these previous posts didnt show up on my screen before for i posted this:

So I didnt realise that the post was refering to toilet coach
Considering the initial post you replied too referenced the toilet doors

Lost somewhere within Bank-Monument tube station,
I see my anecdotal post about the toilets on 321409 has caused much merriment in this thread.

Where you recording it and did u see some guy run to the motah coach at kelvedon because I saw someone filming the ride when I boarded

There’s a movement tomorrow, clacton to Worksop tomorrow, but I will sadly miss it because education reasons

I was sitting in the motor coach but certainly not filming the journey, however I did run to the toilets between Marks Tey and Colchester to smarten myself up for the Christmas party I was about to attend...which is where I discovered the toilet doors (NOT THE SLIDING EXTERNAL DOORS TO REMOVE ANY DOUBT) wouldn't shut or lock. Could have been me.

However seeing as this is the withdrawal thread for 321s .
How about holding a tribute to the withdrawal for the toilet on 321409.
After all it is being withdrawn soon anyway

Rather than the door being warped, I would suspect grit or litter stuck in the runner somewhere and jamming it a bit...

As @class321 has videos of every door, he must have one of this toilet door opening & closing?
Don't forget earlier on in the year.
It was the hustle alarms ie the door closing noise as well. 321427.
Wonder iff they are still available.
Even better to chime wee auld lang syne from 321427 hustle alarm.
Whilst having a wee on 321409 toilet at midnight. With both units parked alongside at London liverpool Street.
As these 321s see in the new year 2022 in style off not being withdrawn. .
However back on thread interesting to see what early 2022 brings ie iff any early on do go for scrap.
