Of the LNWR fleet, 319218 has been withdrawn and scrapped, 319460 has been withdrawn and is currently stored at Nemesis Rail Burton, and 319441 has been sold to ROG and is stored at Castle Donington.
319005, 319012 & 319219 are still active although I'm unsure if they're actually being used at the moment

Normal timetabled service tomorrow and for the next two weeks at least..... no strikes! THe 319's weren't used at all last week with the reduced timetable.

6 units will be in service tomorrow..... i'll let you know which ones are out and about.

319217 and 219 spare at Bletchley

319429+215, 005+457, 012+214 are the 8 car formations in service today.

Considering the 360/2s are being scrapped and there’s no work for the 319s/768s, I wouldn’t be surprised if ROG decide to cut their losses with them too in all honesty.

Does anyone have a definitive Scrapped list, as so many have moved by road, its a bit pot luck to know if they were spotted. (eg, 319362,364,365,371,441,454 or 769426).

When do we expect 319s to fully leave Northern? I see from Dec22 they are going to be well utilised, probably more so than present.

730s release 323s and the 323s (you'd guess) will replace the 319s at Northern, so just a case of the 730 backlog being sorted and training everyone on 323s in Northern land.

Two more years of 319s?

Yes, we've been told it could be as late as the Dec 24 timetable change before all the 319s are gone; however considering they should have been gone a couple of years ago anything could happen!

Also a sign of the times that four of the twelve units were /4s the subtype which Porterbrook allegedly valued for conversions to 769s. Obviously TfW are using it's 769s as DEMUs and seem to have finally got them settled into the odd few diagrams they can do, but their replacement are sat on Canton and Barry already. Porterbrook should have bought Stadlers !!!

Thanks WSnook37025.

There's a few in there I'd missed.

Still leaves a few questions though ..... does anyone know the scrapping dates & locations for 319363, 319374, 319376 and 319460 please?

Many thanks

Thanks, I've updated the list on Page 1.
I've also just seen pictures on another group of a Thameslink liveried 319 being taken away by road for disposal from Northampton Kings Heath depot. Any idea which unit it was?
