Class 319's into storage/withdrawals tracker

Looks to be 2 carriages near sailsbury, and a plane of kind.

Could be , although the images aren't really high quality enough to be able to tell if it's the 319 or just two wagons.

Are the handful of 319s that were at Eastleigh still there? A while ago in Carl Watson's photo blog he mentioned they were being prepped for departure, but nothing more was said.

Being left stored outside with their doors left open can't have done them any good. I even saw a few pigeons going in and out of them , you can see the pesky birds on the roof of 319377 in photo 1.

Being left stored outside with their doors left open can't have done them any good. I even saw a few pigeons going in and out of them , you can see the pesky birds on the roof of 319377 in photo 1.

So currently being used as a very expensive pigeon loft.

Wonder what the state of them is like inside , with the pigeons lodging inside them

If they can even move anymore. All the 319s look filthy, possibly corroded inside, and probably stripped of components for the 769s. Even 319371 doesn't have a pantograph or pickup shoes anymore.

319220 has been rumoured to be at Brodies Kilmarnock. Not sure if it's true, it's just something that i heard of that may spark up something regarding it's location.

I would take it with a grain of salt until images of it there surface. However I wouldn't be surprised if it is at Brodies having parts pinched from it to help with the 769 Exams and overhauls.

I would assume 319011, 319377, 319380, and 319441 are all for that purpose now? Provided the parts are intact from years of sitting still. A shame as it would be nice to preserve them or re-use them as 769s or even more variants of the 799, but oh well. I wonder what the 768s are for now.

011,377 and 380 Just seem to be rotting in Eastleigh works , from what I've seen of them they haven't been touched for years and have pigeons living in them.

No ideas on 371 or 441 though but all of the remaining units will probably be scrapped sooner or later.
If an attempt at preservation was going to happen it probably would have happened by now so in my opinion I would write off preservation for any of these units.
