Thursday 03rd April 2025.

Saw 5Q76 1106 Crewe South Yard to Newport Docks Simms,

37800 taking 319373 for scrap the orion ex rail operations group unit for scrap.

However 319373 has now gone for scrap,

Expect to see more stored 319 movements within the coming weeks. All of ROG's other 319s have temporarily been moved inside the shed at Eastleigh for preparatory work prior to their departure. Recent pictures can be seen on Carl Watson's website"

They were outside the works on 23/3/25.
As were 2 701s. I thought they were usually at the shed.

Ah, Must have been moved back outside then. They’ve predominately lived on some sidings at the back, usually isolated.

They also have 319441 stored at Castle Donington (along with 768001/002)

This was what became 769426?

My records for this end in April 2023 when I had noted that the 3 remaining carriages (77340 had gone to scrap in December 2022 apparently) were reported as being at Wolverton

Does anyone have any ideas on the location of 319220, the last I knew of it was that it was going to an MoD site, but that was years ago now when West Midlands Trains were withdrawing them.

According to Trainlogger this unit hasn't been disposed of, but Trainlogger also has no idea where this unit is currently located.

Any ideas?

I have a feeling that may be incorrect as the first time 319220 was reported at Eastriggs MoD was when two 769's of the same Livery were moved there , I can't see any signs of a 319 on Google maps there either.

Looks to be a pair of 319's in the exchange sidings looking at Google maps.
