168219 only took 4 months, 168005 has been there for 5 months to date, so hopefully shouldn't be too far off. 108 has been there 2 months, so will still be a while before that one comes back.
The 165s are going there for underframe work not refurbishment. And 018/024 were reformed back before it went, 018 is back in service.165024 has gone to Doncaster for internal refurbishment and looking at the pictures looks like still formed of part 018 and 024 looking at the roofs.
Ok thanks for clarifying thatThe 165s are going there for underframe work not refurbishment. And 018/024 were reformed back before it went, 018 is back in service.
Was it providing spares for other /3s?168329, whilst it has been back in action, requires fitting out with seats etc.
The 168/0 traditionally have taken the longest to complete from my observations.168219 only took 4 months, 168005 has been there for 5 months to date, so hopefully shouldn't be too far off. 108 has been there 2 months, so will still be a while before that one comes back.
Indeed. Some have needed much more attention than others, even within the sub fleet. The 168/0 traditionally have taken the longest to complete from my observations.
Is that not because the 168/0 are the four car sets? So it seems natural it would take longer, also I think they're having structural work done on them tooThe 168/0 traditionally have taken the longest to complete from my observations.
Out on Thursday 28Seems like there will *finally* be some movement. There's a path in for the 28th for something to head off to Crewe. No return path yet but I assume one will appear. Hopefully it runs this time!
Out on Thursday 28

8109 is smiling at me on sidings 1 currently168109 was the only unrefurbished 168 at Banbury last night that doesn't happen to be out today, so I assume it's 168109.
That unit needs proper TLC which is probably outside the scope of refurbishment in my opnionCould it be 329?
makes senseThat unit needs proper TLC which is probably outside the scope of refurbishment in my opnion
Oh interesting, I had 168003 last night.168003 is having new seat covers on them. Once that's done it'll be back out.
Why, its been converted back to a standard unit and is just awaiting the refitting of the rest of its seats. They have been using it for staff training runs for the last month. That unit needs proper TLC which is probably outside the scope of refurbishment in my opnion
Thanks for the updateWhy, its been converted back to a standard unit and is just awaiting the refitting of the rest of its seats. They have been using it for staff training runs for the last month.

I did notice on the off chance that one of the seats on Wednesday had a similar set of marking to what has previously happened with the cloth seats (although thought may have just been something from that day) so wonder if a defect in material etc. . It was the first one done so makes sense that there is a snag.
