Hello,
I have a DMI (driver manager interview) coming up for trainee driver at Bletchley.
Does anyone have an insight into what to expect, questions asked etc?

Pretty similar to your opc mmi but a few more questions. Last approx 60mins

More relaxed than opc and make sure you do your company research

I've got stage 1 of the OPC test tomorrow. I have been practising all the tests that they've said I'll be doing. Just looking to see if anyone has any last-minute advice :)

Listen carefully to the instructions any doubts ask questions before you start as they cant help once a test has begun.
After you finish each section try not to think about it and focus on the next one,
Try to enjoy it. I found it nowhere near as tense as I had built it up in my head before going.

I found The dials test very challenging....I used a few tricks to make it easier.....but it was still a difficult test...
Best of luck

Physical copy of everything, NI card and proof of ID.

TRP1, You get given the paper to read. And they read it out too...if I remember correctly.

Hope this helps

I don't have a NI card. But I have a NI number pdf copy which I downloaded from HMRC website and printed a photocopy of it, will that work???

These haven't existed for getting on for 20 years at this point.
Yes that’s fine, that’s what I used.
I just took a wage slip
Thank you very much for your reply. Looking forward for the test in the coming days.

What kind of tricks?
Like when prioritising the dials based on what colour the pointer is at, so i make up a little song or a phrase, example, white first, grey second, black third....then move on to the range of number that it's in...
Its just the way my brain works to figure things out.....
My method might not work for everyone....

I sent an email to the person who interviewed me yesterday evening however I was emailed this morning by Talent Acquisition Partner saying I passed and they apologised for the delay in getting back to me so I don’t know if it’s related

BEFORE everyone starts emailing, can we be respectful that the driver managers and operations trainers themselves have a day job and a railway to assist with.

Our poor inboxes cannot take 3000 people asking for an update

Thanks :)
