Hi all,
Just come across this. Anyone know what work is to be done over the course of the weekend in question? I thought the boxes weren't due to close until September as I heard the closures had been delayed by 10 weeks from the date previously planned.

While I think of it, I noted the other day that a gantry had been erected at Cardiff Q/St for two signals to be mounted on it. But I am surprised that, if the work entails a number of stations not getting services on the Saturday, the service isn't cancelled entirely.Changes to published timetable services on Cardiff & Valleys routes Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June
As part of an on-going project, Network Rail is carrying out improvement work on the line between Cardiff and Rhymney and between Radyr and Cardiff to replace old equipment. This will mean that train operators will be able to provide a more reliable service in the future.
