All 5 evenSouthampton Central (all 4 platforms)
Actually, you just jogged my memory: all stations Johnstone - Dalry (both inclusive). Paisley Gilmour Street?c2c from shoeburyness to barking is all bi-directional
Likewise I think a lot of the Southend Victoria line is bi-directional but with less capacity going the "wrong" way.c2c from shoeburyness to barking is all bi-directional
As is the GEML from Shenfield to Marks Tey, with it then being properly bi-directional from there to ColchesterLikewise I think a lot of the Southend Victoria line is bi-directional but with less capacity going the "wrong" way.
Thankyou for the welcome and well it was worth a try asking but thankyou for the informationWelcome to the Forum, I'm afraid that the short answer to this is that there's not 1 single official list.
As has been mentioned, a the definition of a bi-directional platform is somewhat variable, as it could require being able to use it as a through platforms in both directions and not simply reverse in the platform. If using the more limited definition, most major stations will have at least one bi-directional platform, and any station on a bi-directionally signalled line will also have them. Additionally, any station with only a single line (i.e. not a passing loop) would be a bi-directional platform.
In any case I think bay or terminus platforms are probably out of scope, as although the OP didn’t state they weren’t included, they must always allow moves in both directions.SOU P5 is westbound only and not in passenger service
Strictly p2 - p6 and p8, since AFAIK p7 has never been used for passengers since slam-door stock was withdrawn. (For the benefit of others, it faces the same track as p6.)You’ve also got platforms which are not through platforms but can be used to turn back in, so it depends if you want those included. On top of that you’ve got turn back platforms that are accessed by ground position signals so not accessible generally accessible for passenger services.
According to my paperwork I have for the outer Wessex route;
....
Guildford P2-P8
The sectional appendix will show you which platforms are bidirectional, though they won’t have a list of them.evening all , does anyone know if there is a way to find a list of stations with bi directional platforms
1-6 at Victoria are bidirectionalManchester Victoria Platforms 3-6
Blackburn Platform 2
I think the line (and others) is designated a Single LineMost stations between James Cook (Middlesbrough) and Whitby are bi-directional as the line is mostly a single track with a token system.

Both platforms at Royston.All platforms at Cambridge and Ely are bi-di, as are all at Peterborough except P3.
