I went past the depot site yesterday. Certainly a hive of activity. Refuelling apron and canopy coming on apace. Various (small) buildings springing up all over the place.
One thing I did notice was that it looks like the two approach roads that serve the refuelling area have buffers very near the refuelling area itself, to form two short(ish) sidings.
Are these in use - they look connected? I sort of assume they are temporary stabling sidings that are used to clear platform 1 terminating trains from the down goods loop? and will be removed once the depot is open?
