A more recent entry, but I hope you find it interesting:
Sunday 17/01/16
390 124 1721 Crewe - Euston via Kidsgrove, Stoke
Because of WCML engineering work, the Caledonian Sleepers had been amended to run from Kings Cross, the first sleepers there since 1988:
90045 2104 Kings Cross - Doncaster RMT
47843 + 47848 (+90045 dead) 2320 Doncaster RMT - Newcastle via Sunderland, High Level Bridge.
Yes, there were engineering works on the ECML too, hence the diversion. 47843 + 47848 had been modified with multiple working equipment. This is the only time I've had haulage from multi-fitted 47s.
Monday 19/01/16
90045 0216 Newcastle - Edinburgh
67007 0450 Edinburgh - Fort William
Bus Fort William - Inverness
67011 2044 Inverness - Edinburgh
Tuesday 19/01/16
90045 0135 Edinburgh - Kings Cross
This was the first passenger-carrying sleeper train to arrive in Kings Cross since 1988.
I chose the Chiltern route to get me back to Crewe:
68012 0841 Marylebone - Birmingham Moor Street
390 156 1115 Birmingham New Street - Crewe
The ECS loco for the Caledonian Sleeper workings at Kings Cross was 86401. Here's a shot of it in Platform 0 on Sunday 17/01/16:
